Exterior Wood Primer is a water-based primer for priming surfaces such as façades, windows, fences and carports. The product protects the wood, as well as enhancing adhesion and durability of a subsequent surface treatment. Exterior Wood Primer is very well suited for fir, accoya, larch, pine, oak and non-impregnated wood.

Products in use
Clean the surface with WOCA Exterior Wood Cleaner. The surface must be completely dry and free of dust and dirt. New wood should be treated as soon as possible. Can also be used as a pre-treatment for previously oiled wood that has been weathered. The treatment with Exterior Wood Primer must be performed in dry weather, at a temperature between 15-30° C. Avoid direct sunlight and intense heat. Wood humidity must not exceed 17%.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  1. Shake the container well before use.
  2. Apply Exterior Wood Primer undiluted, with a brush or roller. It is important that the product is applied thoroughly and evenly. Start with the end sections of the wood.
Exterior Wood Primer is a pre-treatment product, so the surface must then be treated with WOCA Exterior Wood Oil within 14 days. Make sure that you have properly sealed the container after use. Check the treated surfaces annually. Repair any damage immediately.
