Before the application of Bees’ Wax Balm, the wood must be clean, free from grease and completely dry. TIP: To obtain a hard-wearing surface, raw wood may have an initial finish with oil before it is treated with Bees’ Wax Balm.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  1. The surface must be completely clean, dry, and free from resin, grease, oil, wax, lime, as well as cleaning residues. Use Intensive Wood Cleanerfor thorough cleaning.
  2. Apply Bees Wax with a lint-free cotton cloth in a thin and even layer.
  3. After a drying time of approx. 30 minutes the wood may be after polished with a cotton cloth or polishing pad.
