Przed obróbką należy zawsze wykonać próbę na niewielkiej powierzchni w mało widocznym miejscu, by sprawdzić, czy podłoże odpowiednio przyjmuje produkt.
Wszelkie szmatki, pady itp. które zostały użyte przy olejowaniu należy namoczyć wodą, zamknąć w szczelnym opakowaniu i tak zutylizować z powodu ryzyka samozapłonu.
