    Instructions
It is important that both wood and oil have a temperature of min. 59°F (preferably around 68°F) and air humidity of approx. 50 %. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated for optimal evaporation and drying time.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

    1. Sand old and previously treated surfaces with GRIT 180 sandpaper. Vacuum clean the surface thoroughly.
    2. Thoroughly clean the surface with Intensive Wood Cleaner Spray. Then wipe surface with plain water. After cleaning, leave the surface to dry for at least 8-9 hours
    3. Stir the Oil carefully before and during use. Container with different batch numbers should be mixed before use to avoid differences in shade and gloss.
    4. Use a paintbrush to distribute an appropriate amount of oil in an even, covering coat. If possible, the reverse side of the work surface should also be given a coat of oil.
    5. Wait approx. 30 minutes at 68°F, while the oil soaks into the wood. Apply more oil if dry areas appear.
    6. Polish with a White 3M pad in the direction of the wood grain. This will make the surface more durable. Then wipe off all excess oil with a WOCA Polishing Cloth. No excess oil should remain on the surface.
    7. Allow the surface to rest for an hour and repeat steps 3 to 7.
    8. The surface should be treated two or three times before use. For the final treatment sand in wet oil with 320-400, before wiping off with a WOCA Polishing Cloth
The oiled surface can be used after 24 hours at 68 degrees. During this period, the surface must not come into contact with water. The oil does not harden completely until after about a week. Therefore, treat with care during this period. Any spilled liquids should be wiped up immediately.

Wood humidity must not exceed 18%. High temperature and low air humidity will reduce drying times. Low temperature and high air humidity will extend drying times.
The wood surface should be maintained at least once a year, or when necessary.

Danish Indoor Climate Label is a voluntary labeling system for products and materials which can document the effect of off gassing. Indoor climate labeled materials are a natural component in sustainable construction, where a good indoor air quality contributes to social sustainability.

The migration of metals (As, Hg, Se, Cr, Sb, Cd, Pb, Ba) of the sample was tested according EN 71 Part 3 1995. There was no evidence for migration of the named metals above the limit of detection (10-50 ppm). All interior WOCA products are suitable for toys.

WOCA Maintenance Gel and Worktop oil are tested for specific migration, MOSH/MOAH, NIAS and sensory properties for 2 hours at 104°F under worst-case simulations.
