Anti Slip - R9

Sports test

A European standard test for contamination of harmful substances. This test is especially relevant for worktops, toys and kitchen utensils.

Food contactable

If you wish to avoid a spillover of harmful substances from worksurfaces to food then look for the Glass and fork symbol. The manufacturer has to document that the surface treatment of the product does not release release harmful substances into food products. This is tested by an independent third party who assesses the composition of the product. Look for the symbol!

IBR

Voluntary labelling that ensures the best possible indoor climate as well as minimum of bad odours and other forms of contamination. The product is tested by a third party independent examiner.

Recommendation:

Do not expose the floor to water or clean it for the first 7 days while the oil is hardening. After 7 days the floor can be cleaned with WOCA Natural Soap, which gives the surface extra protection.

This exclusive, single-component, low-odour, extremely hard-wearing floor oil is made from natural and high quality materials. It is very easy to work with and assures minimal waste. Diamond Oil Active’s unique hyper cross linking technology will give your wooden floor a comfortable, non-slip surface that is extremely water repellent and easy to clean and maintain. The oil has a dry matter content of approx. 99% and is suitable for machine-application when oiling untreated, new or newly-sanded wooden surfaces in all species of wood. * VOC <1% – Natural, Extra White and White

It is important that the product, the room and the floor are at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C and that air humidity is approx. 50 %. Wood humidity must not exceed 12 %. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated for optimal evaporation and drying time. The wood must be free of dirt, grease, wax and sanding residue. Previously treated surfaces should be sanded down to bare wood with grit 100-120. Vacuum thoroughly. Wash the surface with WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner and leave it to dry for at least 8 hours before applying the oil.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  1. Wash the floor with Intensive Wood Cleaner. Leave the floor to dry for at least 24 hours at 20°C before applying the oil.
  2. Thoroughly shake the container of Diamond Oil Active , both before and during use. Containers with different batch numbers should be mixed to avoid colour mismatch. Apply the oil using a short-bristled paint roller in an even coat.
  3. Leave the oil to be absorbed for 10-15 minutes. If the oil soaks quickly into the wood, apply more oil.
  4. Polish the oil into the wood until the surface appears saturated. Use a buffing machine with a buffing machine for large areas and a polishing cloth/pad manually for small areas.
  5. Remove excess oil with dry, lint-free cotton cloths or pads until the surface no longer appears wet.
  6. If an extra-attractive finish and resistance is desired, the floor can be repolished with 1 dl Diamond Oil Active per 10 m² within 8-10 hours hours of the first application. The oil should be polished thoroughly, as described in 4+5.
  7. The floor can be used with caution after 24 hours.
  8. Clean tools with WOCA Solvent or Turpentine.
If an extra-attractive finish and resistance is desired, the floor can be repolished with 1 dl Diamond Oil Active per 10 m² within 8-10 hours of the first application. The oil should be polished thoroughly, as previously described.
