Product Details

Basic Pro 1K Lacquer is a water-based floor lacquer with low odour, that leaves the wood with a resistant and durable surface ideal for normal wear. The lacquer has a good performance and is suitable for domestic projects due to its remarkable flow and fast drying time.

Contains: 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one; Reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-2H -isothiazol-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction.

It is important that both wood and lacquer have a temperature of min. 15°C (preferably around 20°C) and air humidity of approx. 50%. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated for optimal evaporation and drying time. For the final sanding to bare wood, use grit 100-120 sandpaper or sanding pad. Vacuum thoroughly and wipe the floor down afterwards, using a tightly-wrung water-soaked mop/cloth. The floor must be completely dry before priming or lacquering. When priming, use WOCA Basic Pro Primer for newly sanded wood to reduce side bonding. Alternatively, try WOCA Master Multi Primer for exotic wood species or old wood previously treated with oil or wax.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

A coat of Basic Pro 1K Lacquer Lacquer should be applied undiluted, using a brush or roller. Leave the surface to dry until next day.

Sand the surface with 120-200 and vacuum clean the surface thoroughly.

Apply the final coat of undiluted Basic Pro 1K Lacquer.

Water and coloured fluids, such as red wine and coffee, must be wiped off immediately to prevent staining.
