Caring for oiled wooden floors: Maintenance Oil vs. Oil Care

Two wooden floor care products with almost the same name. The application process for the two products is rather different, however.

Here, we compare WOCA Maintenance Oil and WOCA Oil Care to show how the two products differ from each other.

 

WOCA Maintenance Oil vs. WOCA Oil Care

 

Product characteristics:

  • Oil-based
  • Same odour as other oils
  • MUST be polished after application to the floor
  • Water-based
  • Completely odourless
  • No polishing required

 

Job description

  • Leave the floor to dry for 6-8 hours after cleaning with WOCA Interior Wood Cleaner
  • Apply WOCA Maintenance Oil with a pad or paint roller.
  • Then polish into the wood with a polishing pad or buffing machine.
  • Can be applied soon after cleaning with WOCA Interior Wood Cleaner
  • Apply WOCA Oil Care with a wool pad in a thin uniform coat.

 

Care and maintenance

  • Apply WOCA Maintenance Oil once or twice a year
  • Apply WOCA Oil Care when the need arises

  • WOCA Natural Soap and
    WOCA Oil Soap

    WOCA Oil Soap

 

Technical data

  • Drying time: approx. 4 hours
  • Fully cured after 24 hours
  • Coverage approx. 40-50 m2/litre
