Drying time:

UV drying with Hg lamps, min. 600-800 mJ/cm2 for each lamp. Production speed 10 m/min. For pigmented systems, a combination of Gallium and Mercury lamps are preferred.

UV-Oil 508 is an extremely fast-drying 100 % UV oil that penetrate deeply into the wood, creating very durable wood floors. Using this oil ensures fast productions speeds as the proven UV technology dries and cures instantly and allows immediate packing at the end of the production line. The UV-oil is available as ready-to-use oils and can be tinted in various colours

Sanding
  • Final sanding grit 150-180
Roller
  • Use smooth rubber roller shore 15-25 EPDM rubber
  • Apply 15-20 gr/m2
Even out
  • Use minimum two nylon brushes. 1st runs counterwise and 2nd runs counter-clockwise
  • Can also use pads
Uv-lamp
  • Use 2 lamps Mercury 400-600 mj/cm2
  • Use 1 Galium lamp if oil is pigmented
Intermediate sanding
  • Use sandingpaper grit 400-500
Roller
  • Use smooth rubber roller shore 15-25 EPDM rubber
  • Apply 5 gr/m2
Even out
  • Use minimum two nylon brushes. 1st runs counterwise and 2nd runs counter-clockwise
Uv-lamp
  • Use 2 lamps Mercury 600-800 mj/cm2
Viscosity correction: Correction can be made with WOCA Reactive thinner for 100 % UV-oil only, #822080-001.
