Danish Indoor Climate Labelling
Danish Interior Climate Labelling is a voluntary labelling system for products and materials which can document the effect of degassing. Indoor climate labelled materials are a natural component in sustainable construction, where a good indoor air quality contributes to social sustainability.
Emission Class A+
The French labeling system is a mandatory classification of materials, such as floor treatment products, based on their VOC emissions to indoor air. A+ is the highest rating, indicating improved indoor air quality with very low emissions.
DiBt
DIBt is a German institute that tests and issues technical approvals for building materials. The aim is to improve the working climate for floor installers whilst ensuring a safe indoor air quality for the final consumer.
DIN EN 14904
European standard which specifies the requirements for sports floors and surfaces for indoor facilities, such as gloss, friction and reflectance.
Anti Slip - R11
Anti Slip - R9
DIN 51130 is a standardised anti-slip test for flooring. It is typically used for work places and official buildings where there is a requirement that products have the anti-slip test DIN 51130 with a classification from R9 to R13.
Sports test
European standard which specifies the requirements for sports floors and surfaces for indoor facilities, such as gloss, friction and reflectance.
Fire test
European standard specifying how building materials react in case of fire. Bfl-s1 classifies flooring with low combustibility and very low smoke development.
EN 71-3
European standard ensuring that materials do not release toxic substances in amounts harmful to children. Particularly relevant for materials such as toys, kitchen utensils, worktops and furniture.
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) supports greater transparency and documented sustainability. EPDs present verified data on a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle, based on recognized standards and third-party verification.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

  • Before wet sanding, the floor must be cleaned of previous surface treatments in accordance with the floor manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Wet sand the floor with 400 grit (bordeaux red pad) using WOCA Hardfloor Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:10.
Remove the sanding slurry with WOCA Hardfloor Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:40, and immediately vacuum up the liquid with a wet vacuum.
Note: Microplastics must be disposed of as environmental waste.
  • WOCA Hardfloor PU Coating and hardener must be thoroughly shaken/stirred together before use.
Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes before application to activate the hardener. The surface must be completely dry before application.

Note: Linoleum has a longer drying time than other materials.

The prepared mixture must be used within 4 hours.

  • Drying time before the next coat (if required): 2–3 hours at normal room temperature.
We recommend applying 2 coats of Hardfloor PU Coating for optimal strength and durability.
  • The substrate must be stable, dry, and suitable for renovation.
